Under the Shanthiniketan Integrated PU College, we offer comprehensive and focused competitive exam preparation for JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) for engineering, NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) for medical, and CA/CS (Chartered Accountancy/Company Secretary) and KCET - Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET)entrance exams through specialized in-house IIT staff and professionals. Our dedicated programs are designed to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to excel in these highly competitive exams, through 1st and 2nd PUC. Shanthiniketan also encourages its students to take up IIT foundational classes from 6th to 10th before PU offered with the Shanthiniketan Integrated Public School.

JEE

The IIT JEE (Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination) is a highly competitive and nationally recognized entrance examination for admission into prestigious engineering institutes in India, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The exam is divided into two stages: JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

JEE Main

JEE Main is the initial stage of the examination. It serves as a qualifying test for various engineering colleges across India, including the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other centrally funded technical institutions. JEE Main is conducted in both online and offline modes and consists of objective-type questions in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. JEE Advanced

JEE Advanced is the next stage for students who qualify JEE Main with top ranks. Only a limited number of top performers are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. This stage is specifically for admissions into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). JEE Advanced is known for its challenging and complex problem-solving questions that test a candidate's in-depth understanding of concepts and problem-solving skills.

Around 12 lakh students registered for JEE mains – 2018. Out of 2 lakh students are qualified for JEE advance. We are proud to say that around 942 students of our college qualified for JEE Advance 2019.

JEE ADVANCE

  • The top 2.20 lakh students from JEE mains are eligible to write JEE advanced.

The NEET

The NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a highly competitive and standardized medical entrance examination in India. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET serves as the single entrance test for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses across various government and private medical colleges in the country. The exam assesses candidates' knowledge in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

NEET plays a crucial role in determining admission to renowned medical institutions and is known for its challenging questions that assess candidates' understanding of concepts, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. With a vast syllabus that covers a range of medical topics, NEET demands focused preparation and a strong grasp of fundamental principles.

From 2017 academic year onwards the central government has made NEET compulsory for admission to MBBS/BDS in all government and private medical colleges Pan India.

The CA (Chartered Accountancy)

The CA (Chartered Accountancy) and CS (Company Secretary) exams are prestigious professional examinations in India that offer pathways to lucrative careers in finance and corporate governance.

CA Exam

The Chartered Accountancy exam is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It comprises three levels: Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. The exam covers a comprehensive range of subjects related to accounting, auditing, taxation, financial management, and business laws. CA aspirants undergo rigorous training and practical experience to become adept at financial analysis, taxation planning, audit, and other essential financial skills.

The special training for CA Foundation aspirants starts in their I PUC along with their regular academics. CA Foundation sessions are conducted in the afternoons. CA Foundation sessions are handled by a team of highly qualified and well experienced faculty drawn from the premier institutions. They contribute their best with single minded focus on learning facilitation, innovative methodology, individual attention and careful grooming which provide the students ample opportunities to excel in their chosen field.

Mock tests are conducted regularly for the students to tune them and prepare them completely. The students are provided with an excellent crash course after their PU Board exam. Crash Course sessions are conducted by reputed CAs and experts. CA Foundation results speak volumes about the true achievement of PU College.

CS Exam

The Company Secretary exam is conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Similar to CA, it has three stages: Foundation, Executive, and Professional. CS professionals play a vital role in ensuring legal compliance, corporate governance, and effective communication within organizations. The exam covers subjects like company law, corporate governance, financial management, and business ethics.

To be a company secretary a candidate has to pass 10+2 examination or candidates can take a provisional admission before appearing for II P.U.C exam. There are 3 levels to be a company secretary, 1st level Foundation Programme, 2nd level Executive level and 3rd level Professional/Final level.

The students from Arts and Commerce are eligible for the course of CS. Admission is done throughout the year from June to December. The duration of the course is 8 months after the final level the candidate has to undergo 5 months of training in a company and has to take 15 days of training with Registrar of Companies.

After the completion of CS the candidates can get job in the most reputed companies with a handsome salary of 30,000/- to 1, 00,000/-. A Company Secretary is responsible for day-to-day activities of a company.

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET)

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). It is specifically designed for students seeking admission to various professional undergraduate courses in the state of Karnataka, India.
