Youth Red Cross Unit of Shanthiniketan

The Red Cross Club at Shanthiniketan Group of Institutions is a dynamic and compassionate student organization dedicated to humanitarian service and promoting the principles of the Red Cross movement. In addition to its humanitarian efforts, the Red Cross Club at Shanthiniketan Group of Institutions also spearheads a proactive medical awareness initiative. Women Health Awareness Program

The 19th of February 2020 was an informative day at Shanthiniketan Degree College. Having organised an Anti-sexual harassment cell program under the Red Cross unit of the institution, awareness of women protection and safety practices were propagated to the girls.

Tobacco Awareness Program

Disseminating knowledge and empowering our students…

The Red Cross unit of Shanthiniketan Degree College organized a Tobacco Awareness Program on the 6th of February 2020 to raise awareness on the harmful effects of Tobacco.

HIV/AIDS Awareness Program

Knowledge is the best prevention, from the HIV infection.

24th January 2020 was a very important and informative day for the students of Shanthiniketan Degree College. With a crucial message on HIV, the Youth RED CROSS unit held an awareness program to educate the young pupils about HIV and its disastrous ill effects.

Serving the Iruliga Tribal Settlement

The volunteers of UNICEF & Red cross organization of Shanthiniketan College of Science and Management Studies organized one day camp for  iruliga tribal settlement at Ramadevara hill Ramanagar on 10 Dec 2022. Volunteers, students, principal and faculty members actively participated in the  programme to create awareness  about  the  significance of education  and  cleanliness. Volunteers performed  skits to impart the essence of  education. Eventually  program concluded by distribution of books, pencils  and fruits .
